Great Experience On The Dragon’s Pearl Trip To Bai Tu Bay

Recently did a memorable 3 day, 2 night trip on the Dragon’s Pearl from Hanoi up to Bai Tu Bay. It’s a lovely junk style boat with character. There were only 10 passengers with 6 staff to look after us. There was a huge selection of food and more than we could all eat. Passengers with specific dietary requirements were catered for. Our guide Smiley was great and looked after everyone when we were kayaking and doing activities. The scenery is spectacular and the water much cleaner on this trip than in Halong Bay itself. All the staff on board were helpful, friendly and keen.

Beautiful and Spectacular Experience!

Took the Dragon Pearl 3 day Cruise and loved every bit of the cruise. Pick up and drop off from hotel, all places mentioned in the itinerary were covered. Our tour guide was excellent. He was very experienced and really funny. All the staffs in the cruise were so friendly. Food was remarkably good. Being Vegetarian, we were initially worried but we loved every dish prepared and quantity and variety was mind blowing! Did swimming and kayaking. Very fun leisure trip. Definitely a must visit place and highly recommend Indochina Junk! Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Dragon Pearl Junk 1 night trip!

What an experience from start to finish! Welcome drink when we arrived, delicious food served for lunch, dinner and breakfast, a visit to a cave and optional canoeing around an island (which is a must do if you are able), sunrise in the middle of the islands and to top it off a bamboo boat tour around the fishing village! We also loved that they consider the environment and pay for the bay to be cleaned and are anti single-use plastic, supplying everyone with refillable glass drinking bottles which we could use for the rest of our trip. Would definitely recommend!

Truly Delightful!

Indiochina Junk was a really delightful company! We did a 3 day, 2 night cruise of Halong Bay on Dragon Pearl 2. The ship was comfortable, the cabins were roomy with good air conditioning! The food was well prepared and they accommodated all of my non-meat concerns in a tasty way. The guide Chung was fun, well informed, and easy going. Two of the crew members were also amazing musicians and came out after a meal and serenaded us with beautiful music (Tony and Truong). Captain Hiep kept us safe and steady the entire time. It was a good combination of rest and activity. It was also my birthday and they surprised me with a delicious birthday cake! Highly recommend you choosing this company!
