Since our very first days, Indochina Junk has been closely tied to the growth of Halong tourism. With a vision to offer more than just a sightseeing trip, we pioneered the concept of boutique cruises that explore the untouched corners of the bay, while maintaining the highest standards of service and hospitality.

Over the years, we have proudly introduced five distinctive fleets – L’Amour Junk, Prince Junk, Red Dragon Junk, Dragon Pearl Junk, and Dragon Legend Cruise. Each vessel is carefully designed to combine traditional charm with modern comfort, and each carries a dedicated crew recruited from different regions of Vietnam. After graduating in tourism, hospitality, or culinary arts, our staff undergo professional training tailored to our specialized journeys, ensuring that every trip is not only memorable but also an exchange of culture and understanding between crew and guests.

One of our most remarkable milestones was being the first company to develop voyages into Bai Tu Long Bay – a pristine and less-traveled part of Halong. By charting routes to hidden lagoons, deserted beaches, fishing villages, and majestic caves, we offered travelers the chance to immerse themselves in a quieter, more authentic experience of the bay. This pioneering approach not only brought new value to visitors but also helped highlight the natural and cultural treasures of Bai Tu Long, contributing to its recognition as an unspoiled gem of the region.

Our commitment to excellence has been recognized widely. In 2008, Indochina Junk was honored as one of the Top 5 companies in Halong Bay for service quality. In 2009, we became the only company in Halong awarded for best-quality products and services by the Vietnam Small and Medium Enterprise Association. “For a green Halong Bay” is one of our responsible travel program operated since 2007 to raise awareness of environment protection and local community support. The project of collecting rubbish on the sea water continues to be well implemented and achieves positive results. Many visitors appreciate this effort and support the project so much. It is also a precious learn of protecting the environment and sharing benefits with local people.

The food was delicious and plentiful. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were comfortable. It was relaxing and peaceful, but there were a lot of activities to keep us busy. They also take the time to explain the itinerary to you and also educate you on the “green bay” initiative which looks to try and keep the local area pollution free. I would love to go back and do it again!

What a wonderful experience in Bai Tu Long Bay. Wonderful itinerary planned and executed by the team. We even got a surprise honeymoon cake! Glass water bottles and the Green Ha Long Bay initiative is also a plus! The lunch and dinner was top notch dining experience. The rooms were big and 6 star quality. Awesome cruise!
