DAY 1: HA LONG INTERNATIONAL HARBOR – BAI TU LONG BAY – CONG DAM AREA (L,D)

08:20 – 08:45  

Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter by a luxury van.

11:30

Arrive at the Indochina Junk Office, take a rest at the Waiting Lounge before transferring to the cruise.

11:50 – 12:15

Electric carts take you to the port where the crew and staff welcome and assist with check-in on the cruise.

12:30 – 13:00

Enjoy welcome drinks after boarding the cruise, guests, receive a brief introduction to the 2-day, 1-night itinerary, safety regulation, and receive room keys.

Have lunch onboard, savoring fresh and delicious seafood dishes of Ha Long. The cruise starts its journey to explore Bai Tu Long Bay.

Explore the majestic natural beauty of Cong Dam Area by kayaking (weather permitting), or by tender boats.

Enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear water.

Back to the Red Dragon Junk to refresh yourself in the mineral seawater pool, wellness corner or sauna and spa service or enjoy the sunset view over Bai Tu Long Bay.

Onboard activities vary by season:

[April – September] Relax and admire the sunset while cruising to the overnight stop.

[October – March] Join a Vietnamese cooking class.

Boat arrives at anchorage location.

19:00 – 19:30

Relax and enjoy dinner in the peaceful, romantic atmosphere of the bay (served at 7:00 PM in winter, 7:30 PM in summer).

Leisure time, you can experience squid fishing, and have a good night on Red Dragon Cruise.

DAY 2: CAP LA – THIEN CANH SON CAVE – HALONG INTERNATIONAL HARBOUR

Start a new day with Tai Chi on the sundeck & a morning view of the Bay’s landscape

Visit Thien Canh Son Cave, the most beautiful natural cave in Bai Tu Long Bay, where you will be amazed by the mesmerizing stalactites and stalagmites formed over thousands of years.

Enjoy kayaking and exploring the natural beauty of Cong Do area.

Back to the cruise and complete check-out procedures.

Enjoy a set menu while the cruise slowly returns to the port.

Disembark. Drive to Yen Duc village in Dong Trieu province for a short break in this typical Vietnamese agricultural village which is rich in culture and traditions.

Enjoy a water puppet show performed by local artists.

16:00 – 16:30: 

Arrive in Hanoi. Trip ends.

We provide comfortable shuttle transfers from Hanoi’s Old Quarter (about 2.5 – 3 hours) or private cars on request. Boarding is around 12:00–12:30 pm, and the cruise returns to Hanoi at approximately 4:00 pm on the final day.

Bai Tu Long Bay is quieter and less crowded, with pristine beaches, dramatic limestone islands, and peaceful fishing villages. It’s perfect for travelers who want to avoid the busy routes in Halong Bay while enjoying equally stunning scenery.

All meals, your cabin, sightseeing fees, and guided activities are included. Activities may include kayaking, cave exploration, visiting fishing villages, cooking demonstrations and on some 3D2N cruises a BBQ lunch on a wild beach (subject to weather and tide conditions).
